Better Than Replacement

We have entered our slower season and couldn’t be more stoked to share my favourite part of working for our clients!

Many homeowners come to us with the expectation that the only option for a beautiful outdoor surface is to rip up their existing concrete and replace it with a fresh pour. Maybe it’s in the cracks and discolouration or concerns about the continuation of wear that leads them to believe the only way through is out, but it is rarely the case. Very often, homeowners are excited to learn about the strength of our epoxy product and the minimal preparation that goes into our installations. I am always excited right alongside them when I explain that the whole point of our product is to help save you the trouble of removal. I can recall one client who was most relieved to discover we would not have to sandblast his yard to remove an older, failed concrete overlay.

As many of our projects are installed and cured within a week, we can save the trouble and turn-around time between removal and pouring for a typical concrete replacement. We are also the same group who will cover everything from prep to finish to save you time searching for different services and coverage. Our style of finishing is also quite a step-up from typical concrete finishing (see the SPARKLE).

While our product may not be the best option 100% of the time, most of our clients are surprised how often Sierra Stone is the perfect option for their concrete troubles.

I cannot say it enough that my favourite part of this work is when our clients realize how easy it can be to begin enjoying their spaces again. We are usually the ones to call when you they have exhausted other options and are ready to replace their existing concrete. I encourage everyone to call us first before they call the demolition crews!
